An Apprenticeship with us doesn't just give you the chance to become a Travel Advisor in one of our shops, it can open up many other doors within the company, like Careers Overseas, Cabin Crew, Call Centre or Head Office, to name but a few.
Plus, at the end of the programme, you'll gain a People 1st Apprenticeship Framework certificate. This is recognised by all employers and confirms you have technical knowledge of travel and tourism topics and vocational capability up to national industry standards.
To qualify to join the Apprentice programme you must meet the following criteria:
- You should be at least 16 years of age
- You must be able to work shop opening hours (including weekend work)
- You'll be motivated and committed to continuing studying, as the programme will take you 1-2 years (depending on which qualification is suitable for you)
- You must not already hold a higher education degree
- You'll be eligible to work in the UK
- You will need to pass a literacy and numeracy test as part of the application
What does an Apprenticeship offer me?
- On the job work-based training aimed at people of all ages (School leavers upwards)
- Includes on and off the jobs training & education to achieve Apprenticeships in Travel and Tourism Services
- Permanent contract offering a starting salary of £120 per week plus commission
- The programme is completed over 2 years (unless your part qualified)
