Just as travel has become more and more flexible in recent years, so too have the business models we use to deliver a unique travel experience. In many ways our Activity brands are similar to our customers: each has its own choice of destination, and its own ideas about how to get there. But by investing heavily in new technology and content, and giving our businesses the freedom to chart their own course, we make sure all that energy leads to truly impressive results.
Our Five Divisions:
1. TUI Marine
Our Marine division includes The Moorings, Sunsail, Le Boat and Club Vass. The Moorings and Sunsail are market leaders in the US and UK respectively and offer a wide range of products. These range from activity clubs and resorts to yacht charters and inland waterways holidays throughout Europe.
2. TUI Ski
A portfolio of businesses including First Choice Ski, Thomson Ski, Thomson Lakes and Mountains, Crystal Ski and FlexiSki, as well as Thomson Al Fresco and Trek America.
3. Student
Our Student division includes Skibound, JCA and Crystal Schools, as well as niche companies such as i-to-i, which specialises in gap-year, volunteer travel and TEFL courses.
4. UK Adventure & North America Distribution
This division includes leading brands such as Exodus, The Adventure Company and Headwater. These specialise in small group walking, diving and adventure travel worldwide.
5. TUI Travel Sports
Here you'll find businesses such as Gullivers Sports Travel, Australian Sports Tours, Your Sporting Challenge and Sportsworld, which provide travel (for both spectators and players) to a wide range of sporting events in the UK and worldwide.
Additionally, Activity also offers truly innovative and unusual products through companies such as:
- iExplore - a web based company offering customised independent tours and packaged group adventures and experiential travel. The iExplore website also contains travel guides and online forums and communities for travellers
- Quark Expeditions - a polar expedition company that offers trips to the Arctic and Antarctic with specialist tour leaders on board ice breaker vessels
